AAAAHHHH - The joy of playing in the mud! There is nothing like the feel of clay in your hands, the thought of unlimited possibilities - shall we throw a pot, perhaps make some jewelry, or use hand-building to create a functional piece?

There is nothing like the sound of the wheel and the feeling of your own body assisting in centering that blop of clay in front of you to create anything you want. The beauty of working with clay lies in the fact that - until a piece is fired - you can always make corrections, add decorations, trim away excess clay, or take that same chunk of clay and start over.

I have been working and playing with clay for over 10 years, and my focus is to create fun, funky, and functional pieces. I am forever fascinated by wheel-throwing and Raku firing, and I enjoy just experimenting be it with different clay bodies, glazes, or techniques.

To me, it is about having fun with clay, the journey of enjoying myself, the bliss of creating something. The process is more important to me than the end result, and I always learn something new with this approach.
